travel

Just came back from Boston. I was surprised that it didn't snow in New York yesterday.
Though people said it is not the right time to visit Boston in winter, I think it is still worthy to visit it. But it was such a special experience that the second day of our trip snowed heavily all day when we had planned to walked through 2.5 miles "Freedom Trail" which people can see lots of historical sites/buildings. It was chilly to walk in the snow, my toes became numb with cold and one of my company's shoes were soak after the snow melted away on her shoes. Finally, we made it! What an unforgettable experience there! There were few visitors in this season so it was more obvious that we are tourists. I noticed that Boston is not only a beautiful place where I strongly recommend to visit but people there are also really nice. For example, while we were looking at the map, one person volunteered to help us. There was one time that we were discussing how to get "*** street", one father with two small kids were passed by and he said " did you just say "*** St."? you can go straight and turn left..." All of us felt warm at that moment....

After going Orlando, we went to Boston without careful plans. But I really had great time! During this winter vacation, I spent most of time taking some short trips or visit some famous places in New York. Suddenly, I love this feeling that we planned our own trips to visit another states. Also, I noticed how serious I want to escape New York city!!! I do not hate New York but I love other places more!!! I wish I could travel around the world; however, maybe starting to visit other states first is enough and preparing a lot of money(sigh....)
