I'm glad to chat with some friends on line sometimes. just small talk, understand their dreams, what's new in life, any change...via writing emails, reading their blogs, chat on Gtalk or MSN even off-line message.
I have 2 0r 3 friends once they returned to Taiwan, they told me they miss New York.
This morning I was chatting with E on Gtalk. E felt surprised I got married and I felt surprised she went back to TW. I thought she would get married before me in NYC. Suddenly, I can understand that women fight for their work and marriage. Finally, they would figure it out what they want. However, maybe one of the spouses could be a sacrifice in the marriage espcially mention to "Love or Bread". I am the one who chose Love. In surface, I might be a sacrifice. But I always know what I don't want and still seek what I want.
On the way to a post office, I was thinking E's question, "how' things in NYC? i heard it's not so good anymore". This city is fancy, fashion and fabulous sometimes BUT most of the people are not like Carrie and her friends in Sex and the City. In my working area, people don't wear fancy clothes like people in downtown. I feel more comfortable when I see lots of familiar faces, walking toward the post office, taking a bus, short conversation in Pizza House or on the streets even old faces asked for my assist evey day.
Recently I am anxious about applying teaching certification. I try to ask for a help from a professor and some other people. I hope things will become clear.
Let's fight for both my dear friends! Good job & marriage.

BIRDLAND-"The jazz corner of the world"--Charlie Parker
The night before Valentine's Day
we wanted to go to a jazz bar. We did a little research then decided Birdland
I don't know much about jazz but I love cello
Pear Martini/ slightly drunk/ not crowded people/ perfect light
were just right for this moment
totally forgot about an argument before here
It's all about relaxing
we're lucky enough to have an orchestra seat without reservation
a vocalist, Hilary Kole, has a beautiful face and voice
When she sang, her whole body swung and audience followed the beats
It's all about relaxing
just right for the slightly drunk night
you could still easily walk with high-heel black boots home...
